It’s been a busy week at Reign FC HQ. We’ve put together a quick recap of some recent happenings that should satisfy all your Saturday night Reign FC cravings…- Forward Megan Rapinoe and Forward Kennya Cordner were officially added to the Reign FC roster earlier this week. And if you have not already heard the news, Rapinoe got the assist on the goal that made Abby Wambach the all-time leading international scorer. You can see goal #159 here:http://youtu.be/a2mPbM1OS9w- And in more roster news: Defender Stephanie Cox - a gold-medal winner at the 2008 Olympics - was also signed by Reign FC. We expect Steph to be officially added to the roster by the end of June.- FOX Sports recently announced the NWSL national TV schedule for this season. Reign FC will feature in two matches, including our home match against the Washington Spirit on Sunday, July 14. The appearance on national TV requires that we adjust the time of our 7/14 match to 5:30pm (rather than the originally scheduled time of 7:00pm). Make sure to mark your calendars!- We also recently announced that our second friendly match of the season will be against the U-20 US Women’s National Team. The match will be an exclusive event for season ticket holders - no tickets will be sold to the general public - and will take place on Sunday, July 7 at 6:00p on Moda Health Pitch at Starfire Stadium. Season ticket holders: your ticket labeled “Friendly Match – TBD” will admit you to the match.- Beer Garden Update: as promised, we’ve been working with Starfire to have a beer garden at some of our matches. The news is good: our final three weekend matches (6/29 against Chicago, 7/14 against Washington and 8/17 against Portland) will feature a beer garden. Thanks to Starfire for the hard work to make it happen!- And speaking of our next home match on Saturday, June 29 , we hope you’ll find a way to make it to the game for the expected home debut of Megan Rapinoe. It will be a festive night - we’ll be celebrating Pride Month in Seattle with a limited-edition t-shirt that will only be available at the match. Tickets for the match are available at www.ReignFC.com.- And last but not least, Reign FC is in Rochester, NY for a for a 1pm PT match on Sunday against Abby Wambach and the third-place WNY Flash. You can catch the live stream here:http://bit.ly/12NP1eAThanks to all Reign FC fans - we appreciate your support!
